Ingles Markets is a chain of regional supermarkets based in North Carolina. Currently, the firm is operating more than 190 stores in the Southeastern regions in the United States, including Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. It is a family-controlled company with approximately 26,000 employees. In addition to the supermarket business, Ingles also operates a milk packaging and processing plant, gas stations, and shopping centers.
