Hy-Vee is an American chain of supermarkets. It is currently operating more than 240 stores in the Midwestern region, including Wisconsin, South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri, Minnesota, Kansas, Illinois, and Iowa. Based on Iowa, the company is employee-owned and has over 40,000 employees. A typical location of Hy-Vee includes fitness centers, convenience stores, fuel stations, and full-service restaurants. It is one of the largest privately owned firms in the United States.
