Big Y Foods or Big Y is a chain of supermarkets based in Springfield, Massachusetts and mainly serves Connecticut and Massachusetts. This is a family-owned company that was established by the D’Amour family. It is among the largest independently-owned supermarket companies in New England with more than 12,000 employees and around $2.4 in revenue. There are currently 73 Big Y locations in the United States, most of them are located in metropolitan areas.
