Created in 1967 by Sol A. Shenk, Big Lots is a discount retail chain. It is based in Columbus, Ohio, and now is owned by Variety Wholesalers. The company mainly sales closeout and overstock items with more than 200 stores throughout 15 states in the United States, serving the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest areas. It offers a variety of goods and products, including grocery, apparel & footwear, housewares, furniture, home appliance and more.
